Modern Kitchen with Slate Floor.

Modern Kitchen with Slate floor in new cottage on Wadsworth Lake near Gilmour, Ontario. The beautiful cabinets were crafted by Paul Card of Russel Creek Kitchens near Bancroft. The slate floor was installed by Creative Tiling Solutions. At Creative Tiling Solution we insist on using Schluter Ditra uncoupling membrane to prevent heaving and cracking of tiles. With Schluter Ditra we were also able to create a perfect transition from slate tiles to hardwood. To prevent stress fractures and heaving  caused by expansion and contraction we used Schluter Expansion Profiles to seperate tiles and Hardwood.
