Tile kitchen floor simply beautiful
Beautiful, easy to maintain tile kitchen floor in Timber-frame house on Paudash Lake. Features of high quality floor tiles are easy maintenance and durability. This floor will not show any wear even after many years of use. As an uncoupling membrane we used Schluter Ditra membrane to prevent cracking and heaving. Floor is heated with 1/2″ pex pipe embedded in 2″ of concrete. Pex was stapled to plywood subfloor before 2″ cement pour. Aggregate in the cement was smaller than usual and cement was re-enforced with fiber glass fibres.
