Walk in shower in en-suite bathroom
Walk in shower in en-suite bathroom at Mafco House near Sir Sam’s in Haliburton, Ontario. The shower dimensions are 6′ x 3′ . No corners were cut here. The shower stall is completely waterproofed with Schluter Kerdi board. For the shower base we constructed a mortar bed which was waterproofed with Schluter Kerdi membrane. The bathroom floor is heated with an electric matt which is attached to the sub-floor with modified thin set mortar. Sub-sequent to the heating matt we installed the Schluter Ditra uncoupling membrane. The final step was the installation of the floor tiles.
