Wheelchair accessible bathroom
This is a Wheelchair accessible bathroom at Joy Bible Camp in Bancroft, Ontario. The entire shower base as well as the shower walls where waterproofed with Schluter Kerdi Membrane. In order to facilitate the slope to the drain the entire bathroom floor was built up with a 2″ mortar bed. The floor of the building is slab on grade which presented no structural issues. We sloped the floor gently toward the door entrance to enable wheelchairs to enter without problems. The bathroom was part of the 2011/2012 renovation of the entire 7 unit Cedar Lodge.
